Overview

SSN, an acronym for Strongest State in Nigeria, is a unique reality TV show designed to promote unity and culture across Nigeria. Its mission is to bring Nigerians together to live in peace and harmony, despite the nation’s diversity.

Nigeria today faces numerous challenges, including religious and tribal differences that have fostered insecurity, economic hardship, and disunity. In response to these challenges, the organizers of SSN envisioned a platform where youth from all 36 states and the FCT could come together. The participants will live under one roof, sharing cultural ideas, learning to love and respect each other's way of life, and demonstrating love, peace, and togetherness as one indivisible nation.

SSN Naija was first introduced in 2019 with a successful pilot episode held at Saminaka Holiday Resort in Kaduna State. Contestants from across Nigeria participated in various activities, but the first phase did not receive the anticipated attention and audience due to financial constraints. Nevertheless, the show was aired on Wazobia TV, and the organizers remain determined to make a lasting impact with future editions.

What sets SSN apart from other reality shows is its vision and mission. The show aims to instill unity and peace among Nigerians while promoting decency and morals in the youth. Unlike other shows, SSN is committed to maintaining a high standard of content—no immorality, nudity, violence, or strong language will be tolerated.

In today’s world, where immorality often dominates show business, SSN seeks to counter this trend by restoring and preserving the core values of Nigerian culture and language. The show will provide a platform for contestants to engage with Nigerian ancient culture, discuss the nation’s challenges, and explore solutions. This interaction is expected to foster lasting peace and unity in Nigeria, making the country a better place.

Contestants will be taught to live together in peace, with Christians and Muslims cohabiting harmoniously. Cultural exhibitions will be held regularly, showcasing the diverse traditions of Nigeria.

SSN will work closely with various ministries and agencies, including the Ministry of Culture and Arts, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Youth and Sports, National Orientation Agency, and other stakeholders such as celebrities, content creators, philanthropists, business leaders, traditional rulers, and politicians. The goal is to make peace and unity a collective responsibility.

SSN auditions will be held across the 36 states and the FCT, with the main objectives being:

• Preserving and promoting Nigerian culture
• Upholding decency and moral values
• Empowering the youth

Awards: Every qualified contestant will be awarded prizes and named a peace ambassador, with the responsibility of promoting peace and unity among the youth in their respective states. The youth are, after all, the leaders of tomorrow.
